Online Music Course Overview

Keyboard

“Smiley C” “Eggy E that farts” and “Grumpy G” are some of the fascinating characters that students get introduced to on this course. Having met these captivating notes and more, students learn the skills associated with playing the keyboard. 

Course Goals:

  • Learn the notes on the keyboard
  • Learn to recognise note patterns and sequences
  • Play a major scale (one hand) with reasonable speed and accuracy
  • Cognitive development
  • Play up to three (3) nursery rhymes confidently by the end of the 12 sessions.your text in this area

Drums

Learning to play the drum kit has never been more exciting than this. From acoustic kits to the latest electric and hybrid kits; the student will explore the world of rhythm and beats and be thrilled to bits while learning.

Course Goals:

  • ​Learn the various parts of a standard drum kit
  • Learn important drum rudiments
  • Learn how to construct various drum grooves.
  • Apply these drum grooves to songs
  • Play 2 solid rhythm patterns
  • Add fills and rolls
  • Cognitive development


Guitar

The student learns those skills associated with playing the rhythm guitar and how these skills can be used to aid the child’s musical development.

Course Goals:

  • ​Learn the various parts of a rhythm guitar
  • Learn how to construct main types of chords
  • Apply these chords to songs
  • Play 2 solid guitar strum patterns
  • Play 1 finger picking pattern
  • Cognitive development.

Violin

There has never been an exciting time to learn to play the violin. Your child will learn the skills associated with playing the violin and how these skills can be used to aid your child’s musical development.

Course Goals:

  • ​Learn the various parts of the violin
  • ​Learn how to use use the bow
  • Learn to recognise note patterns and sequences
  • Play up to three (3) nursery rhymes confidently by the end of the 12 sessions.
  • Practicing scales
  • Cognitive development

Musical Objectives

  • Learning the basic techniques
  • Understanding the various instrument parts/notes
  • Recognising patterns and sequences
  • Learning and constructing songs /grooves

  • Action Planning and consolidating learning

Course Registration

Registering for an online music lesson with us is as simple as 1-2-3. Registration fee and course material is £35. You can pay as you learn or make block bookings.
